Taylor Swift Honored

For such a young lady, Taylor Swift is sure racking up the honors.  Now, there's word that she's been chosen to win the Ultimate Choice Award at the Teen Choice Awards.

The Ultimate Choice Award is in recognition of her "extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry" .  She will officially receive the honor at a special cermony to take place on Sunday, August 7.

This award is in addition to an impressive list of nominations including:

# Red Carpet Hot Icon - Female

# Choice Music: Female Artist

# Choice Music: Female Country Artist

# Choice Music: Love Song, for her single 'Mine'

# Choice Music: Break-up Song for 'Back to December'

# Choice Music: Country Song for 'Mean'.

With the award of Ultimate Choice, Taylor joins a very distinguished group including Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Justin Timberlake.

The festivities will take place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.

Special appearances for the ceremonies include  Ashton Kutcher, Justin Bieber, Kim Cardashian, Cameron Diaz, Tyra Banks, Kellan Lutz, Chris Hemsworth and Joe Jonas.

The winners of the 66 Teen Choice Award categories are chosen online by fans aged 13-19.
