Taylor Swift – Just Keeps Adding the Honors

With tonight's CMA awards, you would think that every single artist will be focusing like a laser on what happens on the stage in Nashville.  Well, that's true.  But, as it turns out, things are heating up in the awards season.  And there's plenty of hardware still to be handed out.

For instance, the final round of the People's Choice Award nominees have just been announced, and it looks like country music isn't losing any of its luster when it comes to being a  fan favorite. And one of the most favorite country talents just has to be Taylor Swift.  She's been nominated for three awards, including catagories where she is going head-to-head with artists from different genre's.

Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum have received two nominations each.

Specifically, Taylor has been mominate for Favorite Country Artist along with  Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban and Rascal Flatts. The multi-genre' nominations for Taylor include Favorite Female Artist with such competition as Adele, Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

Her last nomination is for Favorite Tour Headliner.  Her competition for that category included  Bon Jovi, Katy Perry, U2 and Usher

Yes, it continues to be a busy, busy season for Taylor.  But I'm pretty sure her attention will be held strongly by what happens tonight at the CMA's.  Stay tuned.
