Taylor Swift – Visits Les Miserables’ Producer

There's this guy in London, named Sir Cameron Mackintosh.  And, aside from a really cool name, he just happens to be a theater producer.  And he's planning on producing Les Miserables.  And reports are that he wants Taylor Swift to play Eponine. 

We reported earlier  that Taylor Swift was offered the role.  And, apparently it's very likely as she took time out from a sight-seeing stint in Lond to visit with the producer.  The meeting reportedly took place on Monday, January 23rd.

The movie musical is expected to be released sometime in December, 2012.

Taylor will reportedly join a star-studded cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne, and Aaron Tveit have all accepted roles in the movie. Amanda Seyfried may also be joining the star-studded cast.

Taylor has been the subject of a great deal of attention while she's been in London, but I guess that's to be expected.  With success like she's been enjoying in the relatively new year, folks are wanting to know what's going on.  And the paparazzi in Londor are some of the more aggressive in Europe.

We'll also be keeping an eye on Miss Swift as the year progresses.  It's bound to be another exciting one considering her CMA nominations, the fact that her latest single and CD have gone platinum and more good news.
