For the Denver Broncos, the last year or so has seen more highs and lows than a Friday night with Charlie Sheen. January, 2011 saw the re-introduction of John Elway, who quickly brought in John Fox. The off season brought the NFL lockout and public debate about who should start at quarterback for the Broncos and as months went on, the season got underway and there was again, a highly polarizing quarterback dispute. Tebow eventually earned the starting nod, capturing support of his teammates, winning his first start, only to have a humiliating loss which was soon followed by a level of success and popularity few have been able to grasp from the quarterback position. Amid speculation that God roots for the Broncos, Tebow led the team to a playoff victory before losing to the eventual AFC Champion New England Patriots.

Looking ahead to the 2012 season, all seemed well with the world and Tim Tebow’s starting position, until Peyton Manning was released by the Colts and Denver decided to pursue him (and subsequently woo him). So now, there is more QB controversy in Denver, as Broncos officials say they are looking to trade Tim Tebow, which is drawing more criticism from fans of the team, and Tim Tebow. Currently, it looks like opening game next season will feature Peyton Manning at quarterback and Tim Tebow on another team.
