Teton Gravity Research Extreme Ski Film To Be Shown In Laramie [VIDEO]
Teton Gravity Research’s film “Jeremy Jones’ Higher” will be shown free Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 8 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and space is limited.
Giveaways will be available from Teton Gravity Research and its sponsors: Sony, Atomic, The Ski Journal, GSS (Gyro-Stabilized Systems) and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
Teton Gravity Research is a group based in Jackson Hole that produces premier ski, snowboard and surf films. The company works to inspire others to push boundaries, while minimizing their impact on the environment and supporting a range of environmental initiatives.
The group’s newest film, “Jeremy Jones’ Higher,” profiles the professional snowboarder and big mountain free rider. Jones is a 10-time Big Mountain Rider of the Year, a 2013 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year and an environmental advocate.
He is among President Barack Obama’s 2013 Champions of Change due to his work with the Protect Our Winters project. Jones has worked with Teton Gravity Research on two other snowboarding films –
