Most people tend to think their hometown is better than other parts of the state. Unless, of course, you grew up in Rock Springs, in which case you move away on your 18th birthday and tell people you're from Riverton.

But what is the best place to live in Wyoming?

According to the website Areavibes.com, which calculates 'liveability' scores based on a variety of factors including cost of living, crime, quality of schools, the local job market, weather and housing, the best town to live in Wyoming is...Vista West.

The small town outside of Casper scored an 82 on their liveability scale, with an A+ rating for their cost of living, crime rate, education and employment. Were it not for their F rating for weather, Vista West could have ranked among the most liveable cities in the country.

The tiny town of Big Horn, Wyoming, finished second on their list, with a score of 81. Casper Mountain and Osmond tied for third with a score of 80.

Five towns were tied for fifth place. Lander, Cody, Evanston, Laramie and Sheridan all scored 79.

Wyoming's two biggest cities, Casper and Cheyenne finished in a five way tie for 10th place on the liveability scale, scoring 78 along with the towns of Whiting, Red Butte, and Bessemer Bend.
