One of the things I like most about NBC's talent contest "The Voice" is the diversity of the judging and the different styles of the contestants.

Well neither, it appears, is going to change next season.  For fans of country artist Blake Shelton , hip-hop talent Cee-Lo Green pop star  Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine of Maroon 5 , the good news is all four will be back for another season.

‘The Voice’ will return next year as a mid-season show on Mondays from 8-10PM ET.

Cee-Lo was recently quoted on our national site Taste of Country by way of  Billboard magazine.

“We’ve already been secured for a second season, so prepare to see a lot more of myself, Christina, Blake and Adam, and a host of great artists doing their thing,” Cee-Lo said.

Cee-Lo also took the opportunity to address his friend Randy Jackson's "criticism" of the show.  Jackson called "The Voice"  'gimmicky" in a recent interview.

“Randy is a personal friend of mine, and he is well within his rights to voice his opinion,” remarks Cee-Lo. “I believe that’s a little harsh to say that that’s ‘gimmicky.’ I don’t believe that to be true … I believe that it was very savvy of the creators of ‘The Voice’ to give it a different spin. And that spin gives us an opportunity to co-exist [with 'Idol']. I don’t believe we’re competing; I believe there is a co-existence.”

So, fans...sit back, enjoy the wait...and be assured they'll be back for the 20011-12 season.
