Well, THAT didn't take long.  Toby Keith just recently released Clancy's Tavern, and it's already Number One on the Country Album charts.  Amazing.

What's even more amazing, when you think about it, is that this is his 9th album to hit number one.  The guy can write, sing AND sell a boat-load (that's an official radio programming tem) of albums.  Clancy's Tavern has already sold North of 68,000 copies.  That little bit of commerce forced even Scotty McCreery from the top.  Scotty's Clear as Day was on top for two weeks in a row.

As long as we're talking impressive numbers, Toby's last album, the very successful Bullets in the Gun sold 3,000 MORE in the same time-frame when it debuted.   Clancy's Tavern is also sitting at numer 5 on the all-genre charts, behind Cold Play, Kelly Clarkson, Michael Buble and Adele.

And, in this totally digitally dominated world of today, Toby owns the country digital charts with the number of downloads of Red Solo Cup..  That one has been downloaded 61,000 times.

Also doing a good job representin' the country folks, Vince Gill's latest, Guitar Slinger debuts at No. 4 this week.   And his last album, These Days has been certified platinum for sales exceeding 1 million.

Look for several singles being released through the next couple of months as Red Solo Cup works its way up or down the charts.
