Welcome to new album day for Trace Adkins!  The country star will officially release his latest CD: "Proud to be Here" today.  And it's got some great live covers and a duet with Mr. Blake Shelton.

And in the true spirit of this here digital age, fans have been able to stream the entire album pre-release from Trace's official iPhone app.  Yes, I know, but it's true, Trace adkins has his own iPhone app and it's available right here:  http://bit.ly/traceapp.

If you want to stream the record from his website, you can do that right HERE

He's got a busy schedule of supporting the release, including an appearance on the Today Show and later tonight, Trace and his lovely family will make an appearance on Extra live from the farm.  The family has resided there since the fire that totally destroyed their Brentwood home.

Trace will also be making an appearance and have a sit-down with Piers Morgan on August 10 and visit Chelsea Lately on August 11.

He's going to be even busier with a two hour History Channel presentation of "You Don’t Know Dixie".  That show will include Trace’s stories about the South, how it shaped America and his personal stories about growing up in Louisiana. The special is scheduled to air August 17.

The album again is "Proud to be Here".  I hope you get a chance to give it a listen.  I know I'll be playing cuts from it in the near future on Y95 Country.
