Tree Removal At Depot Park

A tree in Depot Park will be removed on Thursday, February 12 due to public safety concerns.

City officials say the tree at the south end of the park along South First Street has reached the end of its safe life span. The tree has a significant lean to the southwest and has decay at the bottom of the trunk.

City staff requests that visitors to the park be aware of the work and give the contractor space to safely remove the tree.
