The University of Wyoming will be holding their annual Unionfest on Friday, May 5 starting at 11 a.m. in Simpson Plaza. According to the University of Wyoming website, Unionfest is the "annual year-end celebration for University of Wyoming students to celebrate the end of another year." Although the event was designed with students in mind, it is free and open to the public.

Daytime activities will include outdoor games, free food, and a performance by Thunder and Rain. The performance will start at 11:45 a.m. Thunder and Rain is a band based out of Golden, Colorado.

Evening festivities will kick off at 5 p.m. in Prexy's Pasture with a performance from Railroad Earth. As part of Unionfest, the concert will be free and will have free food.

Following the concert, the Union Ballroom will host a performance from magician Joel Meyers at 9 p.m., followed by a performance from hypnotist Eric Mina at 10:30. Also taking place in the Union at this time will be cartoons, free massages, and a build your own stuffed animal workshop.

The event will cap off with a midnight showing of "Get Out" in the Union Family Room, during which free pizza will be available.
