The University of Wyoming will be hosting its annual Festival of Trees starting on Thursday, November 30 starting at 6 p.m. The event will feature trees decorated by various local organizations that will be made available for silent auction.

Though Thursday's opening of the festival will only last until 8, the festival itself and the silent auction will continue through Saturday, December 2. During the opening night, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite tree. The "Peoples' Choice" tree will be announced Thursday evening. The festival and silent auction will end at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, but the trees will be on display until 5 p.m.

All proceeds from the Festival of Trees will go to the University of Wyoming Art Museum and will be used to fund the museum's art programs and art classes for children.
