Apparently a handful of BYU fans are a little upset about the bowl game match-up with Wyoming.

The two schools will renew a rivalry that hasn't been played since 2010, when the Cougars departed the Mountain West Conference for independent football status. Before the move, the longtime rivals played 77 games. BYU had the better of the series winning 44 times, Wyoming had 30 wins, and the teams tied 3 times.

BYU has beaten Wyoming their last seven meetings. Wyoming's last series victory was a 2003 13-10 win under head coach Joe Glenn.

KSL TV sports anchor Jeremiah Jensen is a native of Star Valley, Wyoming, and he for one is really excited for the 2016 Poinsettia Bowl.
