Seven UW Track and Field athletes were recognized by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association this week.

To qualify for All-Academic honors the student must have a GPA of at least 3.25 and finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the top 48 of a relay event.

30 female athletes and 21 male athletes from the Mountain West Conference were selected to the team.

Wyoming representatives include: Taylor Gardner with a 4.0 GPA in Physiology, Brandon Douglass with a 3.97 in Physiology, Jenna Mann with a 3.83 in Physiology, Colin Herold with a 3.75 in Finance, Joe Plante with a 3.4 in Kinesiology and Health Promotion, Diana Long with a 3.42 in Kinesiology and Health Promotion, and Katelyn Hall with a 3.27 in Kinesiology and Health Promotion.
