The craft beer movement is alive and well here in Wyoming. Dozens of breweries are now operating across the state; four of whom won medals at last year's Great American Beer Festival.

One of Wyoming's most established breweries, the Melvin Brewing Company from Jackson, was recently honored by the website Chowhound, who ranked their IPA as the "Best Craft Beer" in the state.

It's the latest in a long line of awards for the Melvin IPA, which won the gold medal for Best Fresh Or Wet Hop Ale at the 2016 GABF. Another Melvin creation, their Carlton American-Style Black Ale recently took second place at the prestigious World Beer Cup.

Other award-winning craft beers from Wyoming include the Tumblewheat from the Altitude Chophouse and Brewery in Laramie, which won a GABF gold medal in the American Wheat Beer category.

Sheridan's Black Tooth Brewery Company won a GABF silver medal for their Saddle Bronc Brown. The Snake River Brewing Company from Jackson also claimed the silver medal for their Kelly Alt.

Of course, there are many up-and-coming breweries across the state who are poised to give the big boys a run for their money. In the meantime, we want to know, which one of Wyoming's four most popular breweries is your favorite?
