Two Wyoming Cowboys were drafted into the NFL, and another six players have signed un-drafted free agent contracts to try-out with teams.

Within hours after the NFL Draft ending Saturday afternoon, three former Cowboys notified the media that they'd be accepting UDFA deals. Wide Receiver Tanner Gentry with the Chicago Bears, tight end Jacob Hollister with the New England Patriots, and linebacker Lucas Wacha with the Dallas Cowboys.

Soon after, three more Pokes announced they had received try-out offers as well. Punter Ethan Wood will practice with the Tennessee Titans, linebacker/safety D.J. May will attend the Detroit Lions rookie camp, and tight end Jake Maulhardt signed with the New Orleans Saints.

Those six, along with running back Brian Hill and offensive lineman Chase Roullier will all be competing for NFL jobs this off-season. Hill was selected in the 5th round of the draft by the Atlanta Falcons, and Roullier in the sixth round by the Washington Redskins.
