While you're watching the Poinsettia Bowl, take a good, long look at running back Brian Hill. Tonight will probably be the final game of his collegiate career.

Projected as a second or third round NFL draft pick, Hill will likely forego his senior season and turn pro. When his playing days in Laramie come to an end, Hill will be remembered among the greatest Pokes of all-time.

In only the fifth game of his junior season, Hill set the record for career rushing yards, which currently stands at 4,194. His 34 career rushing touchdowns are also a Wyoming record.

This year, he broke his own single-season records; rushing for 1767 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Those statistics are even more impressive when you consider how bad Wyoming was during Hill's first two seasons; compiling a record of 6 wins and 18 losses.

Facing defenses that stacked the line of scrimmage and dared the Pokes to pass, Hill still produced, averaging over 5.5 yards per rush in each of his three years.

Hill's place in the history books is secure. He may eventually be regarded as the best player to ever wear the brown and gold.

When #5 carries the ball tonight, take a moment to appreciate greatness. Wyoming football fans may never see his like again.
