A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Albany County in Wyoming.  Snowfall in higher elevations could accumulate as much as 10-15 inches with this storm.  Road and travel conditions could be hazardous, check them HERE before you go!

The National Weather Service office in Cheyenne issued the following warning for Southeastern Wyoming:

NEBRASKA PANHANDLE THROUGH MIDWEEK...

.A STORM SYSTEM OVER THE NORTHERN ROCKIES EARLY THIS MORNING WILL
MOVE SLOWLY SOUTHEAST THROUGH THIS EVENING AND WILL THEN MOVE
SLOWLY EAST. AN ASSOCIATED SURFACE COLD FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTH AND
ACROSS SOUTHEAST WYOMING AND THE WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE THIS
MORNING. BEHIND THE FRONT WILL BE VERY COLD TEMPERATURES WHICH
WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND. BRISK WINDS WILL AFFECT THE
AREA THROUGH TONIGHT AND ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL FALL THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.

THE WINTER STORM WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 6 PM MST WEDNESDAY.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL SPREAD OVER THE AREA THIS MORNING AND WILL
  CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. THE SNOWFALL WILL BE
  MODERATE AT TIMES.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...5 TO 10 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED
  IN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS WITH 10 TO 15 INCHES IN THE SOUTHERN
  LARAMIE RANGE.

* WINDS/VISIBILITIES...VISIBILITIES MAY BE REDUCED TO ONE HALF
  MILE OR LESS AT TIMES. NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS WILL GUST AS
  HIGH AS 35 MPH TODAY AND TONIGHT. THE WINDS WILL PRODUCE AREAS
  OF BLOWING SNOW ALONG WITH WIND CHILL VALUES BET WEN 20 BELOW
  ZERO AND 10 BELOW ZERO TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED AND SLICK ROADS AND POOR VISIBILITIES
  WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT. ALSO...BITTER COLD WIND CHILLS CAN
  FREEZE EXPOSED SKIN IN ONLY A MATTER OF MINUTES.

WINTER SURVIVAL KIT. IF YOU BECOME STRANDED IN A RURAL AREA...
STAY WITH YOUR VEHICLE UNTIL HELP ARRIVES. TO KEEP WARM IN YOUR
VEHICLE...RUN YOUR ENGINE 10 MINUTES EACH HOUR...AND MAKE SURE
THE EXHAUST PIPE IS CLEAR OF SNOW TO AVOID CARBON MONOXIDE
POISONING.

WITH THE EXPECTED COLD TEMPERATURES AND WIND CHILL VALUES...PETS
SHOULD REMAIN INDOORS OR HAVE ADEQUATE SHELTER.
