Wyoming Band Making Some Noise
They call themselves, Brand 307. And they've just had one of their first singles released. The band plans a complete album roll-out later this summer.
The single is called Leaving Laramie Behind, and according to band member and writer, Drew Reutlinger, it's all about moving on from heartache.
Every songwriter has a notebook chock full of heartbreak and heartache songs. This was the first one that wrote itself shortly after I moved from Laramie to Cheyenne. Obviously the literal meaning of the song is I had to move out of Laramie to another town.
According to Reutlinger, Leaving Laramie Behind isn't a brand new song for the band, they've performed it for several years on their live show. Now the band is looking forward to having it on the album.
This is the first song that the band completed for the upcoming album.

The Band is currently putting together their summer tour based on several stops in Wyoming and northern Colorado. On another interesting note, the band plans on playing all the tail-gate parties for the American Professional Football League Cheyenne Warriors.
