Wyoming Senior Safety Marqueston Huff was named the Defensive Player of the Week in by the Mountain West Monday. He earns the honor for the second time in his career.

Huff led the Cowboys with a 18 total tackles, including eight solo stops, in the narrow loss at #18 Nebraska. He is tied for first in tackles to begin the 2013 season.

Huff also forced and recovered a fumble on the same play in the fourth quarter that led to a UW touchdown, which pulled the Pokes within 37-34 with 2:01 left in the game.

He also was credited with a pass break-up.
