For women all over the world, the notion of a torrid love affair with a handsome Wyoming cowboy is a popular fantasy. In fact, you could probably fill an entire library with romance novels that were based here in the Cowboy State.

Here's five of the most 'romantic' novels set in Wyoming, along with some of their steamiest moments. You're welcome, ladies.

1. "The Only Man in Wyoming" by Kristine Rolofson - "I'm not much of a ladies man," he confessed. "There's been a few women, but not here at the ranch. And not in a long time."

His fingers swept across her cheek in the darkness and he brushed the whips of hair from her face. "And there's never been anyone like you."

"You don't usually talk this much," she murmured, placing little kisses alongside his mouth. "I thought you cowboys were men of action."

2. "Welcome to Wyoming" by Kate Bridges - She was a temptress and she knew what she was doing to him. She was experienced with men; there was no shyness in her posture, simply a woman who was aware of her effect on the opposite sex. Whatever experience with men she'd had in Chicago, she learned her craft well.

3. "A Real Cowboy Rides a Motorcycle (Wyoming Rebels)" by Stephanie Rowe - Just because Zane was the brother of the man her best friend was going to marry didn't change the fact that he was a complete stranger.

"Are you trying to seduce me?" she asked, her voice equally as quiet.

Silent for a moment. "Would it work?"

"It might," she said honestly.

4. "Wyoming Strong" by Diana Palmer - "I won't give up making love to you," she said with a chuckle. "Don't even bother to ask."

"Maybe we can do it less passionately," he murmured.

"Bite your tongue," she nipped his lower lip. "I love how you love me back".

5. "Wyoming Bride" by Joan Johnston - There was something about his half-lidded eyes that held her spellbound. He met her gaze with an intensity and a depth of feeling she'd never experienced. It left her breathless. She began to pant as if she'd run a race, even though she hadn't moved an inch.
