The Good Dinosaur, the new Wyoming based Pixar movie, is doing big business at the box office. The animated film, which depicts a pre-historic dinosaur living in Wyoming, made $39.1 million over the weekend, bringing its first week total to $55.5 million.

Unfortunately, Wyoming's latest cinematic adventure didn't earn enough to upend the defending box office champion The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, which earned over $51 million this weekend, bringing its two week total to nearly $200 million in the United States alone.

Hollywood insiders expect The Good Dinosaur to remain among the top five movies throughout the month. Although it's not projected to break box office records for previous Pixar movies, analysts believe it will likely gross over $100 million.
