For the half million people that call Wyoming home, we know it's a great place. Wide open, rugged, secluded, and beautiful.

For those of us in Wyoming's "cities," it can be hard to remember sometimes that there are so many amazing small towns. Here's my top 5 most under-rated communities in Wyoming.

1. Cody:

To Do - Play in the Big Horn Mountains or attend a nightly rodeo.

2. Sundance 

To Do - Crook County Museum, Warren Peak Lookout Tower hike

Must see - Devil's Tower Loop

3. Buffalo 

To Do - U.S. Highway 16, Lake DeSmet

Must See  - Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum

4. Lander

To Do - Fremont County Pioneer Museum, Museum Of The American West.

Must See - Sinks Canyon State Park
