Wyoming will be represented on the big stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band are ready for a slew of shows in the capital city.  Every night from Friday the 19th to Saturday the 27th Chancey, Travis, Wyatt, Brooke, and Jack will entertain rockin' and boot stompin' crowds.

The week will be highlighted by a performance Sunday the 21st on the main stage opening for legendary artist Dwight Yoakam.  All other shows will take place at the rowdy Buckin-A Saloon located at the north end of the carnival midway between B and C stands.

Fiddle player Brooke Latka told us "We are all super excited for Sunday.  I couldn't sleep this week because I have so much going through my head about that big day.  We opened for Merle Haggard last year on the big stage and I had the time of my life.  Can't wait to do it again this Sunday."

Brooke added she grew up with Dwight Yoakam's music "I remember being younger and my dad always had one of his songs 'Fast As You Are' on his play list and it was always one of my favorites.  Dwight always had the best music to dance to."

The band's roots come from Moorcroft, Wyoming.  While they have become nationally recognized, they love to play shows in their home state.  They will be opening for Travis Tritt in Gillette August 1st, playing the Wyoming State Fair August 12th through 15th in Douglas, and in Laramie at the Cowboy Saloon September 6th and 7th.
