Who’s Performing at the 2019 Grammy Awards?
Kacey Musgraves and Dan + Shay were among the first announced performers for the 2019 Grammy Awards; in addition to Musgraves and Dan + Shay, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes and Janelle Monáe were announced as performers at that time.
In the second round of performance announcements, Brandi Carlile joined the lineup, as did the Red Hot Chili Peppers (who will perform with Post Malone), Miley Cyrus and H.E.R. During the 2019 Super Bowl on Feb. 3, the Recording Academy revealed that Maren Morris and Little Big Town were also among the scheduled performers.
As it turns out, Musgraves, Morris and Little Big Town will be part of a tribute performance to none other than Dolly Parton, the 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year. The musical tribute will also feature pop star Katy Perry, and Parton herself will also take the stage, to perform some of the new music she wrote for the recent Netflix film Dumplin'. It will be Parton's first time performing at the Grammys since 2001.
