Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ – First Look [PICTURE]

On the heels of Henry Cavill’s Superman debut, Warner Bros. on Friday released the first official still of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming Batman threequel, ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’

Most of Hathaway’s leather-clad costume is hidden behind a giant motorcycle, so the still serves as more of a tease, if anything. But we still get a glimpse of Catwoman’s villainous side, thanks to Hathaway’s bizarro black goggles, bright-red lipstick and long ponytail. It’s positively purrfect.

Will Hathaway be able to top the role made famous by Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992, then made infamous by Halle Berry in 2004? We’ll know when ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ hits theaters on July 20, 2012.
