App To Help Wyoming Cell Coverage

Wyoming residents are being encouraged to download a cell phone app that will help detect popular areas that lack cell coverage.

Frustrated locals who can only access their phones in certain parts of the state have expressed their frustration to cell providers such as Union Wireless and Verizon Wireless.  To help remedy this, an app has been created to detect areas where residents try to use their phones the most.

Anyone with an iPhone or Android can download the LinkWYOMING Mobile Test App from either the Apple Store or Google Play.

LinkWYOMING will help create a data map of popular areas that lack cell coverage in hopes to expand coverage to these dead zones.
