Did you know Amelia Earhart flew an autogiro across Wyoming? In June of 1931, Amelia Earhart piloted an autogiro, an early version of the helicopter, across Wyoming during her cross-country trip.

Have you had a chance to catch the Wyomericana Caravan? For the past four years, the Wyomericana Caravan has been showcasing Wyoming bands as they travel around the state and the region.

Do you remember Jessica Dubroff? She was the 7-year-old girl who was attempting to become the youngest pilot to fly across the U.S. when her plane crashed in a Cheyenne neighborhood during a morning thunderstorm.

Be sure to watch for the northern lights if you are out and about during the late night and early morning hours this week as NOAA has issued a magnetic storm watch.

Have you seen any shaggy dogs in the wind this week? During Wyoming's stretches of windy weather, having long hair just gives you one more problem to deal with. Seeing a shaggy dog in the wind reminded me of the Wind Map I had seen recently.

Do you know anyone going to the big game on Sunday? A couple from Cheyenne has scored a pair of Super Bowl 50 tickets and the game will be played on their 57th wedding anniversary.
