Mallary Snodgrass got the surprise of her life when her boyfriend Will Staney took her to a Foster the People concert in Austin on Tuesday. She thought Staney was able to score backstage passes from a friend, but it turns out he planned the whole thing with the band so that he could propose center stage in front of an audience of thousands. And the whole thing started with a tweet.

While many of us were celebrating Memorial Day weekend, which happily coincided with Dario Franchitti’s Indy 500 win and the gloriously spectacular Golden Gate Bridge anniversary fireworks display, there were plenty in Florida who were suffering through harsh weather.

When Seth Meyers began introducing Sarah Palin as his next guest on ‘Saturday Night Live‘s’ Weekend Update, we were all expecting to see Tina Fey‘s iconic impersonation voice her thoughts on the HBO movie ‘Game Change.’ But unfortunately, the ’30 Rock’ star was not available, so naturally the show selected the next best person to fill in for her — Andy Samberg.

Whitney Houston‘s death came as a huge shock to everyone, including the folks at ‘Saturday Night Live.’ With such little time after the announcement on Saturday to pay tribute to the legendary artist, NBC was still able to set a side a moment of silence to remember Houston and all her contributions.

We all knew Channing Tatum would show us a little ab action when hosting ‘Saturday Night Live‘ this weekend. He’s proud of his past as a male stripper and he’s not afraid to show it, so it wasn’t shocking to see him rip open his shirt during the opening monologue. Clearly, the good people behind the Golden Globes just couldn’t get enough of Ricky Gervais‘ antics and mud-slinging comedy since they’ve asked him back for more. ‘Saturday Night Live‘ seems assured of his impending success on Sunday that it’s booked him up solid with similar hosting gigs… well, not really similar.

Hooray! Sources are confirming that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are really engaged, and a lot of us are saying, “Well, it’s about time.” It certainly wasn’t a smooth ride on the road to “happily ever after,” considering both their three-month split last year and all their past relationships.
