There was quite a turnout at the Laramie Plains Civic Center for the 10th annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning.

Hospice of Laramie joins with the Laramie Plains Civic Center Foundation to put on the yearly event that sees many Laramie families in attendance for a hot breakfast and an opportunity to meet Santa Claus.

The event raises a little money for Hospice of Laramie and the trees used to decorate the gym are all sold off for $1 each afterward.

"We write a grant so the Head Start children were able to come for free," says Hospice of Laramie Executive Director Terri Longhurst.  "We don't consider this a fundraiser; this is a community event."

Children of all ages arrived with their parents to visit Santa Claus and tell him what they hope to see under the tree this year.

"The Civic Center staff and I always look forward to helping Hospice of Laramie put on this event," says Laramie Plains Civic Director Melissa Daniele.  "It's a great family activity for the community."

In the video below, Adryian, Uliyn, and Kaylinn Cochran discuss their Christmas wishes with Santa Claus himself.
