For the first time in over a decade, Coca-Cola is unveiling a brand new flavor. Coke Orange Vanilla will be available starting on February 25th, and will feature both an original version and a Zero Sugar version. The last new flavor to be introduced was Coke Vanilla in 2007, and Cherry Coke in 1985.

According to the statement released on Monday, Coke considered other flavors, such as raspberry, lemon and ginger, but that Orange and Vanilla emerged as the clear favorite in focus groups. Coke Orange was launched in Australia last summer, as well as the same Coke Orange Vanilla in Canada and they did very well in those countries.

While Coke and Coke Zero Sugar haven't seen a huge influx of flavor options in the last decade, Diet coke has seen several new combinations coming out in the past few years, including the brand new Blueberry Acai and Strawberry Guava Diet Coke flavors released in 2019. I tried them, and I really wanted to like them, but I'm just a Coke Zero Sugar girl at heart.

And as an avid consumer of Coke Zero Sugar, I'm particularly excited for the new flavor combination. Vanilla Coke Zero and Cherry Coke Zero have been staples in my life for almost as long as they've been available on the market.

If you're as excited as I am, check out the website for where to find the new flavor when it drops in two weeks.
