Eric Church has released a new single for consideration by country radio stations.  It's a great tune called Springsteen, and I'd like to tell you how much I enjoy it.

The song is a strong one on a couple of fronts.  It's a nostalgic look back to a relationship when he was a teen-ager.  It tells of meeting a true love, enjoying the Summer and attending a Springsteen concert.  The story is about that one woman that got away, and is still thought of.

But, I also like what Eric did with the homage to Mr. Bruce Springsteen. There are titles of some of the Boss' best songs sprinkled throughout thetune. They add to it more than I thought they would.  Springsteen is the 9th cut on Eric's very successful Chief CD. That disc also includes Drink in My Hand and Homeboy. Both, of course, were big hits for Eric and I'm pretty sure this one is going to be just as big.

If you'd like to take a listen, you can see the video here. Be listening for Springsteen on your favorite country station soon.
