One of the most talked about performances leading up to the 2011 CMA Awards show was the return of Faith Hill and the premiere of her new single, ‘Come Home.’ When the lights came on to the stage, Hill stood at the microphone looking like a knockout in a black sheer shirt, black pants and red stiletto heals.

Her performance was the first time in five years that the superstar has taken the stage at the CMA Awards to sing a tune. The uplifting song was filled with soul and emotion, as she addressed each lyric to the power ballad with passion. With Hill’s seasoned stage presence, one would never think it has really been five years since the superstar has stepped foot on the this stage for a performance.

As she belted out her last note of ‘Come Home,’ the Bridgestone Arena fans, friends and artists paid their respect to Hill by rising to their feet, welcoming the singer back ‘home’ to country music where she will always belong. Hill was sincerely moved by the warm reception, and she bowed to her peers with a bright smile.

The new single, ‘Come Home,’ is the first new release from Hill in six years. The tune can be found on Hill’s forthcoming new album on Warner Bros. Records.
