March 20th marks the first day of spring, and the outlook for Wyoming looks to be a wet one. K2 Radio Meteorologist Don Day says the outlook for spring in the state calls for near to above normal precipitation from the start of spring through May, with the patterns getting very busy in the coming weeks. Temperatures should be near normal for the rest of March, and into April and May.

Days says on average, the four wettest months of the year in Wyoming are March, April May, and June, and the long-range forecast is bearing that out.
