George Jones Out of Hospital

Good news out of Nashville.  George Jones has been released from the hospital.  According to the Nashville Tennessean newspaper, the country legend had been scheduled for routine examinations.  He reportedly decided to stay overnight rather than brave the cold drive back home.

Whatever the reason for the extended stay, the "possum" is home now and looking forward to relaxing and catching some football this weekend.   

The Country Music Hall of Famer is scheduled to head out on tour next month, with the first stop February 5 in Tunica, Miss.
