Happy Easter From Wyoming – Our Role In The Jackalope

While the Easter Bunny delivers colored eggs for the Easter Holiday, Wyoming upped the game by bringing the Jackalope to the masses. Brothers Ralph and Doug Herrick from Douglas, Wyoming brought the Jackalope to the world through their taxidermy business.

There are some persons in Douglas who will insist that the jackalope does, indeed, exist. But Ralph Herrick, a taxidermist here, admits, somewhat reluctantly, that his brother, Doug, and he created the jackalope in 1934. -New York Times
