LARAMIE -- The Wyoming Cowboys return to the friendly confines of the Arena-Auditorium on Tuesday hosting South Dakota Mines at 6:30 p.m. It is the start of a three-game homestand for the Pokes, who are playing their first game in the Dome of Doom in 24 days.

Wyoming is 4-3 on the season after falling on the road to Portland by a score of 81-70 on Friday. The Cowboys are shooting 47 percent from the field for the season and are allowing opponents to shoot 43 percent. The Pokes are shooting 41 percent from behind the arc for the season for first in the conference and ninth in the nation. Wyoming holds opponents to 31 percent from behind the arc. He also leads the team with 24 assists on the season. Akuel Kot adds 14.6 points per game. He leads the team shooting 90 percent from the free throw line. He also has 20 assists on the season for second on the team. Cam Manyawu adds 9.1 points per night and leads the team with 7.0 rebounds per game.

The Hardrockers are led by Alejandro Rama at 18.3 points per game and a team-high 5.6 rebounds per night. He also leads the team with three assists per night. He has hit 23 triples on the season and is shooting 36.5 percent from behind the arc. Cameron Cohn adds 13.9 points per game and adds 4.0 rebounds per game.

 

About The Series

The Cowboys and South Dakota Mines will meet for the first time on Tuesday. It marks the first of two meetings this month with a team from South Dakota, as Wyoming will face South Dakota State prior to Holidays.
