Meghan Vogt, who posted the lowest 36-hole total in program history at -7 and was tied for third through the two rounds, carded an 81 (+9) to finish the tournament tied for 25th at +2.

UW posted a collective final score of 891 (+27) to finish 10th ahead of Washington State (893).

"Birdies were much more difficult to come by today and I think we felt the weight of that, which highlighted our mistakes," Cowgirls head coach Josey Stender said. "While we would have liked to have improved our team standing, we didn't lose any ground."

UC Davis (843) won the tournament with Cal Poly (852) finishing runner up and host Colorado State (865) third.

Washington State's Alice Johansson and UC Davis' Abigail Leighton shared the individual medalist honors at -11 (205).

Senior Kyla Wilde finished tied for 31st at +6 after shooting a 76 on Tuesday. Junior Sophie Spiva turned in the Cowgirls' best individual round with a 73 to move up six spots to 40th at +11 for the tournament.

"This group has done a lot of learning by trial early on and if they can just stay patient, it will pay off," Stender said.

The Cowgirls will next compete in the Ron Moore Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Denver Oct. 4-5 in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
