Linder Inks Three Players to 2024-25 Cowboy Basketball Roster

LARAMIE -- University of Wyoming men’s basketball head coach Jeff Linder announced the addition of three players to the 2024-25 roster on Wednesday on the opening day of the NCAA Early signing period.

The trio of players all rank as three-star recruits by Rivals.com and 247Sports.com.

Dominic Pangonis – Burlington, Ontario – 6-5, 180-pound, Guard

Pangonis is listed as a three-star recruit by Rivals and 247Sports.com. He was named the third best recruit in Ontario by 247Sports.com and was ranked as the No. 46 best guard in the class by 247Sports.com as well. He was recruited by Bradley, Drexel, Brown and Old Dominion.

Dom brings great size, length, shooting and athleticism to the program. He has a motor that doesn’t stop running and is always looking to make the “winning” play. He also has an innate ability to process the game quickly and effectively, to make plays that not every player sees. We can’t wait to have Dom’s mix of size and feel for the game at the guard spot in the Cowboy program for the next four years.”

Jehvion Starwood – Oswego, Ill. – 6-3, 180-pound, Guard

Starwood is listed as a three-star recruit by Rivals and 247Sports.com. He is the No. 15 recruit in the State of Illinois and 247Sports.com listed him as the No. 42 ranked guard in the class. He led his team to a sectional championship and a 29-6 record as a junior at Oswego East High School. Last season, he averaged 10.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He was also recruited by Illinois State, Southern Illinois, Miami of Ohio, San Jose State and Denver.

Dylan Warlick – Edmond, Okla. – 6-5, 180-pound, Forward

Warlick is listed as a three-star recruit by Rivals and 247Sports.com. He is ranked as the second-best recruit in the State of Oklahoma by 247Sports.com. The website also lists him the No. 65 best forward recruit in the nation. He has led Edmond North High School to back-to-back state titles. He was named All-State by the Oklahoman. He averaged over 20 points per game as a sophomore and as a junior scored 15.1 points and added 8.4 rebounds per game. He was recruited by Davidson, San Jose State, South Alabama and Abilene Christian.

“We can’t wait to add Dylan Warlick to the Cowboy family. Dylan has been on our radar for some time after a great underclassman career in Oklahoma high school basketball. Having won multiple state championships at Edmond North High School, in the highest classification in Oklahoma, we knew there was something special about his will to win and ability to effect winning. Two traits that cannot be discounted. We loved his ability to elevate not only himself but his teammates and program as well. Dylan also had much success on the Nike EYBL circuit with Team Griffin, where he competed at an elite level, game-in and game-out.

Dylan brings a combination of toughness and skill to the wing position. He’s an exceptional scorer in the post and has a relentless mindset to rebound. His size and athleticism allow him to defend multiple positions and bring versatility to that end of the floor. We can’t wait for Dylan to bring his winning edge to Laramie in 2024.”
