The Wyoming senior shot a 68 (-4) in the first round and a 69 in the second round of the Colonel Wollenberg Ram Classic hosted by Colorado State.

Vogt's blistering -7 is the lowest 36-hole total in Cowgirls golf history. She is currently tied for third in the individual standings three shots behind leader Alice Johansson (-10) of Washington State.

"Such a phenomenal day for Meg from start to finish," UW head coach Josey Stender said. "She has put so much work into her game, physically and mentally, and it is very rewarding to see her so confident."

UW is 10th in the team standings after shooting 292-294 (+10) collectively. UC Davis (-13) has a one-shot lead over Cal Poly (-12) in the race for the team title.

Senior Kyla Wilde is tied for 29th at +2 (72-74-146) and freshman Lucia Morelli is in 36th place at +4 (74-74-148). Freshman Erika Cook, among the Cowgirls playing as individuals, is 47th at +10 (76-78-154).

Sophomore Samantha Spielman (78-79-157) of Sheridan and junior Sophie Spiva (78-79-157) of Casper are tied at 48th at +11 entering Tuesday's third round.

"We had a very consistent day as a team with two competitive rounds in another stacked field," Stender said. "Team scores are close but we need to focus on what we can control, adapt to the course changes and play to our strengths."

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
