LARAMIE -- Wyoming is off this weekend.
That's a good thing, too.
Seemingly the entire roster is on the injured list, including both senior safeties Wyett Ekeler and Isaac White. Will those two be good to go when San Diego State pays a visit to Laramie next week?
Doubtful.
On the bright side, this program got the monkey off its collective back last week, knocking off rival Air Force 31-19 inside War Memorial Stadium. Boy, did they need that one. The Cowpokes got back to their roots, too -- power running game, solid defense.

Sam Scott nearly hit the century mark in that one and quarterback Evan Svoboda added 70 rushing yards and found the end zone twice with his legs. Tight end John Michael Gyllenborg snagged four passes for 70 yards. True freshman wideout Chris Durr Jr. hauled in three for 71. TK King also rushed for a score in the win.
Now, it's a good weekend to hate-watch the Aztecs. They host Hawaii on Saturday. Kickoff inside Snapdragon Stadium is slated for 6 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
If you happen to be in sunny southern California, swing by and check out the game. There should be plenty of great seats available, per the San Diego Union-Tribune.
