BOISE, Idaho -- To say Wyoming needs a win this Saturday in Boise would be a massive understatement.

The Cowboys have never beaten the Broncos inside Albertsons Stadium. That's eight visits, zero victories.

Craig Bohl has taken his Wyoming team to that venue four times. He's left disappointed each time.

This time will be different, right? Seven of the eight game pickers sure think so. That's not exactly science, but in reality, there is no reason the Cowboys can't win this one on The Blue.

They're due.

If this team has any dreams of playing in the Mountain West championship game, a victory over the Broncos is a must. If Wyoming can pull that off, the rest of the slate is, shall we say, favorable. Colorado State pays a visit to the high plains next Friday night. Then it's a trip to Sin City to take on the upstart UNLV Rebels before closing out the season with a home date against Hawaii and a road trip to Reno.

Yes, I know, one game at a time.

I'll be keeping my eye on that game in Fort Collins. Yes, CSU gives up yards galore on the ground, including more than 200 two weeks ago to Boise State's Ashton Jeanty, but I have a weird feeling the Rams could actually make some noise against the front-running Falcons in that one.

Will UNLV come tumbling back to earth at Fresno State? I say, yes.

New Mexico at Nevada could actually be a really good game. Both are coming off rare wins.

Here's this week's matchups and betting odds:

Wyoming (+5) at Boise State

Air Force (-14) at Colorado State

New Mexico (+1) at Nevada

UNLV (+8) at Fresno State

San Jose State (-10.5) at Hawaii

Georgia (-14.5) vs. Florida (in Jacksonville)

Oklahoma (-9) at Kansas

BYU (+19) at Texas

Oregon (-6.5) at Utah

Colorado (+17) at UCLA

Southern Miss (+17) at App State

South Dakota State at South Dakota

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
