The Bronze Boot, for the 11th time in 15 years, will call Laramie home. That hardware is getting cozy after spending the previous three seasons, including seven of the last eight, in the ol' trophy case.

Seven teams entered War Memorial Stadium this fall. Seven teams left with an "L."

The road, on the other hand, wasn't always kind.

There was a blown 14-point lead down Interstate-25 in Colorado Springs and a couple of no-shows in Boise and Las Vegas. For the first three quarters against the No. 3 team in the land, it was a 10-10 draw.

That changed quickly.
