Six Cowboys Named All-Mountain West for the Indoor Season
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., – Wyoming track and field was honored with six All-Conference selections following the Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships, the league office announced Wednesday.

All-Conference honorees are selected as those who finish Top 3 in each event at the MW indoor championships. This season, Wyoming had four podium finishes on the men’s side.
Senior Jacob White led the way with second place in both the 3,000 and 5,000 meters. This is White’s second time being named to the indoor All-Mountain West team, previously doing so in 2023 in the 5,000 meters.
Senior thrower Cam Burkett also earned his second honor with his second-place finish in the shot put. He last made the indoor team in 2024, also in the shot put.
The men’s 4x400-meter relay took second at the championships, earning All-Mountain West honors for the second year in a row, the first repeat selection for the Cowboys in conference history. Sophomore Bradley Ekstrom and junior Cody Hape picked up their second selection while freshmen Jackson Aydelott and Chance Morris earned their first honor.
Senior Elayna Chafee was also selected to the All-Conference team.
