PODCAST: Are the Rebels Really For Real?
LARAMIE -- Is UNLV for real or is this 4-0 start simply a mirage?
Offensively, the Rebels have been potent, averaging nearly 40 points per game, riding the right arm -- and legs -- of quarterback Anthony Colandrea. The junior is completing better than 72% of his throws. He's thrown for 940 yards and eight touchdowns.

Running back Jai'Den Thomas has already rushed for nearly 400 yards and wideout Jaden Bradley has a team-high 20 grabs for 355 yards.
That unit has been deadly.
The defense? Not so much.
Aside from boasting the No. 3-ranked third-down unit in the nation and having a plus-6 turnover margin through four weeks, there hasn't been a whole lot of positives on that side of the ball.
The Rebels are allowing 275.5 yards a game through the air. That's 122nd out of 134 FBS programs. The run defense hasn't been a whole lot better. The visitors are 80th overall, giving up 152.2 an outing.
Yes, this team is unbeaten, but if you dig a little deeper you can see why. Idaho State (FCS), Sam Houston State, UCLA and Miami (Ohio) are a combined 3-14 this season. Not exactly murder's row.
Cody Tucker and Jared Newland break it all down in the latest episode of the Roaring Repeater Podcast, which you can find by clicking HERE.
We look back at the Cowboys' 37-20 loss in Boulder and ahead to what can ultimately be a make or break game in the Mountain West Conference this Saturday night inside War Memorial Stadium.

Kickoff between the Pokes (2-2) and Rebels (4-0) is slated for 5 p.m. and the game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
