Throughout the year, you can bet there are big time sporting events in Casper. State tournaments, the Shrine Bowl All-Star Football Game, regular season sports and maybe the most important of them all. The Summer Sports Classic with the Special Olympics Wyoming.

The Summer Sports Classic consists of two full days of all inclusive sports competitions with athletes from all around the state. The events are held in Casper this Friday and Saturday, August 4th & 5th.

The Special Olympic Wyoming Athletes will be competing in the following sports:

  • Bowling - El Marko Lanes
  • Golf - Casper Municipal Golf Course
  • Cycling - Edness K Wilkins Park
  • Softball - North Casper Softball Complex
  • Bocce  - North Casper Softball Complex

Special Olympics Wyoming is a non-profit organization that has been working for years to offer year round opportunities for kids and adults with intellectual disabilities. It's an incredible organization that works to ensure everyone

2023 Jackalope Jump Benefitting Special Olympics Wyoming

It was a sight to behold at the Casper Family Aquatic Center on Friday night, as hundreds of people gathered to support Special Olympics Wyoming at the 2023 Jackalope Jump event.
