It’s Official, Spring Has Arrived At Wyoming’s Glendo State Park

Finally, it's time to get outside and enjoy the spring weather that's here. Glendo State Park is a great option for you and your entire family.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Glendo will be rocking this year and they've released a schedule of events that shows how great and busy it's going to be.

If you're looking for a quick weekend get-away or a summer vacation, there are lots of options right in our backyard. Glendo is a great location to camp, fish, recreate on the water, hike and mountain bike.

There's 45 miles of trails for hikers and mountain bikers to get out and explore.

With over 550 campsites in 19 campgrounds there's plenty of camping available, BUT, make sure you make your reservations.

Remember that if you're planning on checking out the Wyoming State Parks, it's a good idea to buy your annual pass and camping pass. If not, you'll need to make sure you're paying the day use and camping fees.

Glendo gave an update on how things are looking around the park and they're looking great.

• Water systems are on in most areas of the park
• Boat ramps and docks are in the water and available for use. The water level is at 71%
• 3D archery course is up and running, with new targets available.
• The fishing is great and sources say this could be one of the better years for fishing in recent memory.
