The Funny Side Of Wyoming Life Through A YouTuber’s Lens

It's interesting how much the internet enjoys throwing shade at Wyoming. There are always videos or social media posts popping up that take jabs at the Cowboy State.

Usually, it has to do with the low number of people, or the vast open areas, or the cow-to-human comparison. On a rare occasion, the person thinks they're jabbing at Wyoming, but they're pretty accurate.

That's the case with content creator Ashton Herndon. He recently did a series of videos called 'People from (enter the state),' where he does his best to say things like a local from that state would say.

For Wyoming, he was pretty close, and you'd think he lived here. Some of the phrases he said:

"I just wish more people came to Wyoming...NAHHHH, I'm just kidding, we hate the transplants!"

"I'm so sorry I'm late, an elk was blocking my front door for like an hour."

"Listen to me right now. You have five seconds to leave my state before I unleash a herd of bison on you!"

"I just saw a bear eat a bison, while a wolf watched the whole thing. It was awesome!"

"I swear if you tell anybody about this, you're done, ok? I don't want to end up like those other states with people in them!"

"Now remember what to say once you leave here, ok. Wyoming isn't real. Great Job, now don't you ever come back unless it's to Yellowstone!"

It's interesting how people look at Wyoming and don't know much about the state or what goes on here, and that's fine.

Once again, remember: Wyoming's not real.
