Wyoming's love of guns and shooting is well known, and coming up, those two loves will be combined when shooters from all over the US and Canada are in Casper for the 10th Annual Wyoming Governor's Match at Stuckenhoff's Shooting Complex.

The shoot will feature over 300 competitive shooters in a match that includes 12 stages and 400 rounds. The competition is a USPSA Level II major practical shooting match that uses equipment and techniques that have become standards for police and military training.

Throughout the weekend, the Match will run alongside the Wyoming Firearms and Outdoor Recreation Expo. This event features product exhibits and gear demonstrations from Wyoming-based brands, as well as a legislative panel discussing outdoor recreation.

If you're interested in seeing some of the top shooters, grab your eye and ear protection and head out to Stuckenhoff's Shooters Complex to take in the action.

Also going on Saturday, as part of the Governor's Match Weekend, is the Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation's Firearm & Outdoor Recreation Expo at David Street Station, 10-3. This event is free and open to the public, featuring exhibitor booths by Wyoming's top industry leaders, family-friendly activities, and food trucks.

Around 30 vendors, organizations, and outdoor companies will be on site to showcase the latest and greatest in firearms and outdoor gear. WY Knot Pretzel Co., The Dog House, and Kuver's Texas Barbecue will be set up, serving food and drinks.

The events are both free for the public to check out, so get out and enjoy the weekend with the Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation.
