Its crazy how fast time flies. I remember my dad telling me to enjoy life, because before you know it, you will look back and wonder where the time went. That's the truest statement.

I can remember on October 22, 2024, when the news broke that Grizzly 399 was struck and killed by a vehicle. The Queen of the Tetons was a 28-year old bear that had given birth to between 18 to 25 cubs (depends on who you ask), and was a favorite of visitors, photographers, and bear enthusiasts who would frequent the park.

She was often spotted near roads, around Jackson Lake, or it seemed like, anywhere there was a camera. She was a traffic-stopping, celebrity who sometimes seemed like she was posing for the photographers that were taking the picture.

Since she passed, there have been many tributes to the Grizzly 399, including statue, photo galleries, a movie, and even a "Queen of the Tetons" whiskey from Wyoming Whiskey released just weeks after her death.

Now, just ahead of the second anniversary of her death, Wyoming Whiskey is releasing a limited-edition "Queen of the Tetons Second Edition" bourbon nationwide. The release of the whiskey is on the same day as the new movie '399 Forever', a documentary about the final year of her life which will hit Amazon Prime Video, which is Friday October 16.
